Talking heads

I've found these guys on the youtube recently. Actually they are two very noble men - Bryan Magee and Micheal Ayers.
And yes, I did watch the whole show, and I recommend it as a breakfast TV substitute. I feel it needs some kind of explanation. First of all it really is useful to dig out some basics about the key philosophers from time to time. The other thing is that I can't resist the charm of this style (that I suppose was a norm in the British TV in the 60's). The only other place I can find it right now is the Monty Python's Flying Circus, but it's so much more amusing when it's for real. And after all who said that it's always got to be sparkling, vivid, ridiculously colorful, intellectually reversing, childish and with no message whatsoever? Let them speak. Bon appetite!

here's the trailer (to see the next parts follow the links at the end of the video)

Hi trutka!

How are you?

i'm Míriam, from your class of Digital Video!, the thing is that I'm working on my documental for the subject I'm gonna do it about the erasmus expirience. I want you to help me, if it's possible. I just want to make you a short interview in your native language, or in english about how are you here on your erasmus, what did you spect, what about cultural differences, and more or less whatever you wanna say, it's quite free. I will record you during the next weeks, so I just want you to tell me if it will be possible to meet you somewhere and make it. I don't care much about the place, cause I wanna record your face, and expressions.
Probably I just use some of your sentences not all at the end, the idea is to have a lot of people infront of the screen. :P

So the ones you are with me in DV may be we can talk in the next class and see if I can record you there, or around the university, bar, etc.

Thanks a looot!
